About Momiji Publishing

We are a publishing company dedicated to creating board games and role-playing games inspired by anime and video games, offering unique experiences for fans of these cultures.

Andrés has been playing TTRPGs since 2003, and has been doing so for over two decades now. He has a master's degree in journalism research, and has worked since 2020 in political communication. He is currently head of press in the spanish House of Representatives. He is in charge of digital communication for both political parties and politicians. In his spare time he has published successful role-playing games such as "1800: El Ocaso de la Humanidad", one of the most successful spanish TTRPGs, and has managed the spanish crowdfunding campaigns for "Regnum Ex Nihilo", "Knight" and "Cowboy Bebop - The Roleplaying Game".

- Andrés García Carabantes

Jordi is a psychologist specialized in Human Resources who, after completing his studies in Business Administration, Management, and Marketing, worked for several private sector companies and eventually decided to venture into the publishing world. As Project Manager and General Director at Ex Regnum Publishing, he is responsible for coordinating the various elements of each project. At Momiji Publishing, he is in charge of managing the company in legal and accounting matters. Additionally, he is the author of Shinobi: Hidden Lands and Beyond the Eons.

- Jordi Pomar Beneyto

PhD in Brain Computer Interfaces, worked as a researcher at The University of Tokyo and University of Tsukuba. During that time, he started creating the rules for different games using his scientific skills to ensure that the games were fun to play, balanced, and fair. He created the rule systems for award winning TTRPGs such as “1800: El Ocaso de la Humanidad” and “Regnum Ex Nihilo”.
He is one of the founding members of Momiji Publishing and it’s in charge of ensuring that the systems created for each game, reflects the uniqueness of the license’s universe.

- Jacobo Fernandez Vargas

Jon’s childhood consisted in reading any book he could get his hands on. This resulted in him learning several languages, and also in his career interests naturally veering towards cultural topics. He graduated in Architecture at UPC (Barcelona) and worked for a decade on architectural heritage, both as an architect as a lecturer. In 2014 he moved to Tokyo and attained his doctoral degree at Waseda University. His experience includes participation in a number of projects related to cultural diffusion and interchange, as well as collaborations with universities in Spain and Japan, and with Tokyo and Nara National Research Institutes for Cultural Properties. He also participated in several editions of Tokyo Art Book Fair, as a representative of publishing companies specialized in art and photography.

- Jon Álvarez Fernández
